About VC10X
How capital actually gets allocated, from the people doing it.
VC10X puts the people who allocate capital on the record: asset managers, allocators and family office principals explaining how they really decide. Then it turns what they say into a newsletter and tools other allocators can use.

Mission
The people who allocate capital make decisions that shape markets, companies and families. But most of what they know is shared privately, in meetings and side conversations, if it's shared at all.
VC10X exists to change that. We get fund managers, CIOs, endowments and family offices to explain, on the record, how they build a thesis, run diligence, size risk and decide who gets the money. Then we make it useful for the next person facing the same decision.
What VC10X is
Conversations

The newsletter
Every week, what we learned from those conversations, distilled for the people making the same decisions. Our issues average a 55%+ open rate. Subscribe.

Founder and host
Prashant Choubey founded VC10X in 2022 and hosts every conversation. He started it to get the people who allocate capital to explain how they actually do it: how they build a thesis, run diligence, size risk, and decide who gets the money.
He also runs Podcast10x, which produces podcasts for venture firms.
How guests are selected
Most guests are invited. We also welcome pitches, and screen every one for substance and relevance to allocators.
- Decision-makers first. Guests make or shape allocation decisions: fund managers, LPs, CIOs, family office principals and the people who advise them.
- Direct experience. Guests speak from what they've done, not general commentary.
- Something to teach. Every conversation should leave a listener with something they can use.
- Editorial only. Guests never pay to appear.
